Life is tough when you are handed everything because you are a light-skinned, clean, articulate, non-negro dialect speaking guy.

I fit that description, but no one's ever handed a damn thing to me. I've busted my hump my whole life for what little I have, though with no regrets, I might add.

Black men like Obama are creating a long-term public relations nightmare for guys like me. I fear that in years to come, people will write me off with prejudice, simply because I fit the profile.

Barack and his ilk are trying to divide this country, I do not believe they are succeeding. Along racial or economic lines.
They are pitting producers against takers. The takers are realizing that Barack is killing the golden goose, and the producers are realizing that he is killing the producers economically.

I base my perceptions on character not on skin color, or group think. If you treat me fairly I will treat you fairly.

I believe that there are more productive citizens that believe as I do, than believe as zeroes minions.

I have the had the privilege to work with and beside many of different skin colors that do not judge a person by color but character. In my job/professional life I work with folks from India,China, polynesia and other places.
All they ask is that I do my job, all I ask is that they do theirs.

In the end character or lack of character is all that matters.

Be true to yourself, or the way I express to my contemporaries, if at the end of the day I can look in the mirror and say that I did not screw my fellow man/woman, I did good today.

By the way I often lately need to remind myself about the above.

My prayers to the LORD involve the sparing of America from the policies of Barack Obama, and national forgiveness for the foolishness of those who voted for him because they thought he was "cool", or simply because of the color of his skin while ignoring his intentions.

I see people abandoning his policies, not shunning his color. It's why I'm proud to be a conservative - fulfilling Dr. Martin Luther King's dream of judging someone solely on the content of their character.

Although Obama certainly has the capability to be divisive, I also trust in the LORD that he can use this for the purpose of racial harmony, that we all would learn that how someone looks is not as important as how someone conducts themselves.

May this be true in your situation, FRiend.

You know, that is the insidious rottenness of Obama. What he is doing to the black half of his heritage. Wouldn’t you know, the first half minority person to be elected to the Presidency is really red and brown (commie and fascist). What a great role model for future Black candidates. Our country has finally gotten to the point of being mostly color blind and now, after this guy gets done with our country via his socialist policies and attempts to turn us into a socialist country, no one is going to trust another person of color for a long time. They will mix together his social policies with his being a minority with axes to grind against his own country.

So future minority candidates running for President are going to bear the stigma of having had Obama as their groundbreaker, and have an extra burden to overcome because of him. It’s sad but true. Wonder when all the minorities figure out how he has set back their chances for higher office (the Presidency) for a generation or two. This isn’t fair, but who said life was fair.
