Apology accepted. Perhaps “mentor” was a poor choice of words on my part; however, by Obama’s own admission, he is a student of Lincoln, and review of Obama’s speeches will reveal many similarities to Lincoln’s, in phraseology and choice of words. My point in the first place was that Obama, if pushed far enough, might use Lincoln’s proposed arrest of Taney as “precedent” against Alito ... God forbid. You and I are on the same page about Obama’s treatment of the court. No worries.
