POLITICO's Kasie Hunt, who's in the House chamber, reports that Justice Samuel Alito mouthed the words "not true" when Obama criticized the Supreme Court's campaign finance decision.

But that sort of raises the question: what could have been keeping them from seriously considering their duty up until now?Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. The SCOTUS is actually an appeals court. They don't have an "outreach" program. They cannot "look for trouble." Litigants have to bring it to them after working their way up the chain.
