Where’s Representative Mike Pence? He should also be part of this group of conservatives.

(If leftist legislation that's already in place really can't be ended by non-leftists, then what?)

GOP leadership officials have at times kept the tea party at an arms length as Democrats have criticized the movement as extreme.
They are just as disconnected from reality as the Democrats. Tea Partiers aren’t extreme, they are the mainstream. Look at Mass.

This is exactly what the party needs. Instead of trying to work with the McLame wing of the party, push them to the side and fill a leadership vacuum with winning ideas. they will be forced to follow us to win. Demint is doing this on the Senate side.

probably a couple of Refounders in this group....

House conservatives and House conservative candidates could also use a “House Conservatives Fund” group similar to the already existing “Senate Conservatives Fund” group for conservative U.S. Senators and candidates.

Good for the party conservatives. And Boehner can take credit for enlisting another RINO into the party?? SWELL.

Read here the epitaph of the tea party movement. Because they have refused to come together and develop a political platform themselves, others will now do it for them.

Gohmert made the last speech on the floor of the House this evening. I commend it to every Freeper. He reviewed some of the flaws of the health bills, discussed the disconnect between the American people and their representatives, and proposed the states exercise their right to demand a convention for the purpose of amending the Constitution to address it. He concluded with “I move that Congress do now adjourn before we do any more damage”.
As an aside, wasn't the left all upset about the fact that the Honduran legislature, exercising its Constitutional powers, prevented a non-representive Constitutional Convention? Why would they suddenly be opposed to the idea of a representative amendment convention now? Oh, wait a minute, there is a common thread here, the riights of the governed. They're opposed to the governed having any.

Shadegg is retiring this year. He endorsed McCain over JD Hayworth.
