it seems strange that he would put words in the Gipper's mouth about current events. It doesn't seem strange to me at all. In fact, it's pretty typical.

"One of the traditional methods of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine. Its very easy to disguise a medical program as a humanitarian project, most people are a little reluctant to oppose anything that suggests medical care for people who possibly cant afford it."
Reagan describes Representative Aime Forand as having introduced a bill which would institute "compulsory health insurance" for all people of social security age.
The Forand bill is described as being praised by socialists: "They say once the Forand bill is passed this nation will be provided with a mechanism for socialized medicine capable of indefinite expansion in every direction until it includes the entire population. Now we cant say we havent been warned."
Reagan warns against the danger of encroaching on the relationship between patients and doctors, and of an attack on doctors' freedoms.
Reagan says, "We are going to spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children, what it once was like in America when men were free..."

Can he be impeached from using the name Reagan? It’s sacrilege for that pile of excrement to share the name of the greatest President.

Who dat? Dat da same Ron Reagan jr. who couldn't keep a simple radio program going - a
really liberal radio program that would have shamed his father to the very core - a radio program that just filed for a Ch. 7 liquidation bankruptcy because the business is so worthless it couldn't be sold at any price to anyone as a going concern? That Ron Reagan?
