Palin: Not Romney's turn (but she calls him "a great guy")
Politico ^ | 2010-01-27

GOP 12 notes that Sarah Palin responded last night to the question of whether it's "Mitt Romney's turn to be the next Republican nominee for President."

"Well, I don't think it's anybody's turn ever. We've got to really, really work hard to build up that trust in the people for the people to elect you in a primary and general," she said, going on to call Romney "a great guy."

I see the NeoLeft PaulBots are desperate with trashing of Sarah Palin.

Coming from the anti war, Storm Front PaulBots, it is an honor. She would not want their endorsement.

Sarah Palin is a great America, more than I can say for the
Neo Left PaulBots.

“Bush ran a decent enough campaign for Reagan to decide he would make a good running-mate.”

The only strategically disastrous mistake Reagan ever made.

I disagree. The most disastrous mistake Reagan ever made was appointing Sandra Day O'Connor to the Supreme Court. Bush was a decent VP, and apart from his compromise with democrats to go back on his "No-New-Taxes" pledge, he was a pretty good president.

I will meet you halfway and agree on O’Connor.

Yeah, that usually helps.

there are some parallels between the Reagan campaign and Romney (before anyone flips out i am comparing the campaigns not the people nor their conservative bonafides).
Romney ran a pretty strong second last time around as Reagan did in 76. Not as strong as Reagan mind you but a good run.
Romeny is keeping his team intact. they meet quarterly if not monthly and he keeps his PACs going as well. the infrastructure is still there.
He campaigns for GOPers.
He has deep pockets and connections to other deep pockets.
Do i hope he will be the nominee? heck no i am just saying that he is well positioned for another run and has a decent shot at the nomination. especially if there are a ton of people vying for the nomination kind of like how McCain pulled it off this time around

Count on Politico to try to spin a perfectly reasonable comment into a controversy.

Count on the anti-Palin libertard rabscuttle385 to try to ratchet up anti-Palin fever among the 1-percent crowd with the turn of a phrase and some parentheses.

College English is paying off...not only is he now regularly appending article titles...he used the word "naught" in consecutive posts earlier today.
