LOL. This is the most fun I've had on a live thread since the impeachment days of yore!
Oh no...the chairman is letting Paulson the crook leave the hearing!
Dennis K is my favorite socialist. I never wonder what he really believes- he sticks to his guns- misguided as they are.
This is pretty incredible to watch...
“Wasnt this clown the savior that Zero must have. What a joke.”
Zero must have this “savior” because..............
Stanley Ann Dunham worked for Peter F. Geithner,The turbo-tax kids father.Peter was the director of the Ford Foundation.Obama’s mother Ann looked over the Ford micro finance program she was developing.Timothy spent most of his childhood in Zimbabwe,Zambia,India,Thailand and finished high school in Bangkok. To think Obama’ father worked for shell oil and his step father worked for Mobil oil!Peter F Geithner was also inter woven with Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers and Bob Schrank who was the author of Growing up Radical and Red in the USA!
Stunning, just stunning.
"It boggles the mind that some of the biggest people involved in this (Paulson, Timmy) knew nothing. Did some clerk somewhere make these decisions?? I don't think anyone is going to buy any of this!"
(Laughs a gallows laugh...look of utter disbelief and disgust on his face.)
Paulson: "The failure of that company (AIG) would have been disasterous."
Questioner (D, Ohio): "ESPECIALLY to Goldman Sachs."
Paulson: "To the American People."
God, both the Rats and the Pubs are NAILING this b*****d.
They let Timmy weasel out early.
"f/8 and be there."
So- they really had no clue what they were doing. And NOW- TOTUS has TARP money for an endless slush fund.
Hank thinks the taxpayers will be plesantly surprised.
Yikes.
Yeah, and this committee wasn’t very happy about it either. Did you catch the one Rep. who said, “We’d rather question the NEW treasurer rather than the old one?”
The US Treasury really must be an all-you-can-eat buffet for this crook.
“Hank thinks the taxpayers will be plesantly surprised.”
Yippee!
Someone tell that classless congresswoman to spit the gum out.
Paulson and Geithner are getting tag-team body-slammed by democrats, republicans, liberals, conservatives, black, white etc. The anger coming from the committee is palpable and real, not contrived political poserism. I can't remember seeing anything like this.
I'm now beginning to believe that at some point, there is a good chance that one or both of these guys will wind up in jail or at least very serious legal trouble.
Or any of their ill-gotten gains?
Wed rather question the NEW treasurer rather than the old one?
Yes. The ‘Rats covered for Timmy.
The internet, it's a wonderful thing. Thanks, Algore!
The problem is that Geithner has NO credibility. His excuses and evasions were extremely slippery. This is what comes from hiring someone who is a tax cheat. He can’t defend anything in a time of crisis.
In the “old days” there would be several enterprising investigative reporters working on this story...getting the real story would be a dream for any publisher.
(the gummy gal is Norton from D.C.-she’ impossible)
