The endorsement of the over-the-hill Rino is the biggest reason for doubt about her political savvy I’ve had so far.
Uh, no they are not. I’m one of them and I’m pretty conservative.
I concur. I don't give a chit if she did promise.
McQueeg is a PROGRESSIVE!
“Did you criticize her when she was actually his running mate?
Ooooh, that’s far more scarier than an endorsement.”
I never supported Palin, I never trusted her to hold such a high office, just my gut feeling.
Especially when there is a far better candidate seeking the nomination in the primary.
OK, but that's history.
A lot has happened since then, including the conspicuously disgraceful manner in which Mr. McCain left Sarah to the media wolves as they circled and attacked.
Yes, he brought her to the national spotlight, but that certainly wasn't done as any sort of favor to her. Everything... EVERYTHING John McCain does is done for the sole purpose of benefitting John McCain.
Sarah owes the man precisely NOTHING.
Palin made it rather clear she wasn’t interested in a third party. If she plans on a POTUS run, she will have to kiss the ring of the RNC; but I believe she will remain true to her convictions. Just because you sleep in a barn don’t make you a cow.
Question for Palinistas. What will you say when... ...Palin endorses John McCain?
</sarc>
McCain gave Palin the biggest endorsement any politician ever gave her by picking her for the vice presidency.
Yes, there is no personal advantage to her political career by returning the favor and endorsing McCain over the conservative in the race, but this is completely understandable and demonstrates personal decency over political expediency.
Everyone knows why she is endorsing McCain and no one can believe that the reason is that she has suddenly changed her beliefs.
Agreed - I posted my objections on her page.
Rumors are picking up about Shadegg running. That may be a better alternative to the other two.
Truther said what ?
Correct. Leadership involves making decisions. This endorsement is an especially bad one. We’ve been betrayed enough by RINOs. Conservatives are in no mood for compromise on principle. If the governor is indeed a conservative, iis it too much to ask that she behave as one?
“I have to laugh , some folks are getting their knickers in a twit because palin is helping out the man who gave her her biggest opportunity and a national voice that made her wealthy and influential . “
That’s what lifeboats are for. To get away from the sinking behemoth after it crashes into the iceberg. Distance distance distance from the enemy!
Well, that is the end of Palin, oh well. Next!
I don’t give a crap who Palin supports. Go JD, Go!!!
Completely agreed. Not sure why at his age and after securing the top spot in the party he continues to press on. It’s hard to top that. I think he should retire but at the same time I think it is very risky to take McCain out in an interparty war. People ought to consider the consequences.
