I agree that Ellen is funny; however, what the heck does she know about music and what is takes to sell records? And I am not sure what in my post (comparing the hotness of Kara to Ellen) has to do with politics.

But since you brought it up, FOX naming Ellen to replace Paula had everything to do with POLITICS. This was FOX's mad scramble to appease its gay viewers when Lambert lost in the finals last season to Kris Allen. The conventional wisdom was all the "family value" viewer voted against Lambert because he is gay. The gay groups pounded FOX and before you know it, a gay judge with ZERO music experience for next season.
