Ah, how sad! The FINAL end of the Kennedy "dynasty" in Taxachusetts! And over in Rhode Island, it looks like Patrick Kennedy's seat in Congress is up for grabs too! http://www.irishcentral.com/news/Now-Patrick-Kennedy-seat-is-in-trouble-82500127.html

If they wanted the seat so bad, why didn’t they run a Kennedy?

That’s a head scratcher. I think they haven’t come to terms with the fact that it’s the people’s seat, not the Kennedy seat.

Gosh I feel so bad for those poor underappreciated Kennedys who are so classy and only want to help our great nation.

Whining in public will do so much. not

What about Caroline Kennedy? Did she say, “That Martha Coakley sure doesn’t know how to run a Senate campaign.”?

Follow the money! How much did the overall Kennedy wealth increase from when John was elected to Congress in 52 (I think) until today? (Adjusted for inflation)

*** “You’ve got to fight,” Townsend said. “That’s why Ted Kennedy was so great on jobs and health care and taking on the special interests. . . Coakley was a candidate who apparently said she didn’t want to be cold,” Townsend says. ***

Mary Jo didn’t want to be cold either. Too bad Ted didn’t drive as well as he “fought”.

I’m so sick of the Kennedys and their attempts to make a Saint out of the swimmer.

The absence or presence of Vicky Kennedy on the campaign trail for Coakley would have made absolutely no difference -this is the hubris of marriage to a famous person — people don’t know who she is, don’t care, she’s a second wife and not particularly charismatic or well-spoken. As far as Kathleen Kennedy Townsend blaming Coakley for losing, she talks from experience - she deservedly lost the governorship in MARYLAND, one of the five most reliably Democratic states in the country.

There are plenty of Kennedys who could have run for this seat. The fact that they didn’t can only mean that they knew they would lose. And that can only mean that the Kennedy clan is finished as America’s Royalty.

Joe Kennedy was the “Al Capone” who didn’t get busted (because he paid off the law).

Can you imagine Caroline Capone whining that someone didn’t campaign hard enough for old Al’s Senate seat?!

“Why, that’s the Capone Senate seat that Coakley lost!”
