ABC News had an exclusive interview with Pres. Barack Obama, ahead of his first State of the Union speech Wednesday.
It was a big interview for Diane Sawyer – but it was jarring and a little odd to see Pres. Obama greet her with a kiss.

Well, my first thought after reading this was:

Although lots of people greet their friends with a peck on the cheek — when has a “news anchor” ever started an interview with a peck on the cheek? Since when are the “news anchors” supposed to be friends with the President.
She doesn’t help herself with this at all; how can anyone ever trust a word she says about HIMSELF when she starts an “interview” with such a friendly gesture.
I thought her job was to question him, not to be friends with him.
Unlike the last Democrat president, at least he keeps these, um, intimate greetings above the waist.
Why not pull out a condom you big pile of horsesqueeze?
He’s greeted Nancy Pelosi with a kiss lots of times on camera. I never thought it was weird at all.
I guess Nancy is a friendly colleague and Diane isn’t (or rather shouldn’t be) so it’s inappropriate.
