Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) and state Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias (D) still hold a considerable lead over their respective party opponents heading into the Feb. 2 primary, according to the third poll released in 24 hours about the open-seat Senate race in Illinois...

Kirk holds an even more commanding lead in the GOP primary field with 42 percent. His chief competition, real estate developer Patrick Hughes (R), had 9 percent of support in the poll and 39 percent were undecided. These results were also similar to the Chicago Tribune poll, but Hughes scored better by about 20 points in his own poll that he released today from a relatively unknown polling firm.

Seriously - could we not come up with a candidate who is at least right of center? Kirk isn’t even as conservative as Olympia Snowe, who is already left of center. What a shame.

It is Illinois. The land of Chicago crime lords and teleprompter fairies. In some States we have to take what we can get.

We can. His name is Patrick Hughes

Also, this poll indicates that 39% of Republicans are still undecided! One week to pull of an Illinois Miracle.

I don’t know where Illinois Freepers are. It seems to me that conservatives nationwide need to unite to defeat Mark Kirk and to help Patrick Hughes. We need a “Scott-Brown-Movement” once again, and we only have one week to do it!

I don’t know (and I just found out about Patrick Hughes — A few days ago, but through here, I also know KIRK is moderate Liberal who wants to ride the Tea Party movement, without having given it any feailty through his actual votes up untill this point~)!

KIRK is moderate Liberal who wants to ride the Tea Party movement, without having given it any fealty through his actual votes.........

A NEW DAY IS DAWNING Under no circumstances should we conservatives allow the Pubbies or the RNC to hijack the tea party movement.

PASS THE WORD To tea partiers, 9/12 marchers, pro-lifers; defense of marriage, 2nd amendment, anti ObamaCare, anti-amnesty, anti-cap/trade conservatives. It's in our hands to dictate the terms by which we support candidates.

HOLD CANDIDATES' FEET TO THE FIRE These are the terms under which we conservatives permit candidates to earn our support:

(1) Your conservative group holds an official position within the campaign;

(2) Your group's issue is affirmed in the candidate's platform;

(3) Your group is in attendance at all campaign strategy meetings;

(4) Your group holds a paid job in the campaign;

(5) Your group holds a paid position in the winning candidate's elective office.

(6) The candidate must renounce RINOS and pukeneos before he/she gets conservative endorsement.

====================================

HOW TO HANDLE THE RNC

When you receive an RNC fundraising call or letter, simply reply: " In lieu of a contribution, a donation in your name has been sent to the Scott Brown Relection Committee."
