Obama looks to Zen master Jackson for political enlightenment

"I was hoping that, Coach, you were going to bring some books for Republicans and Democrats in Congress maybe to get them to start playing like a team together," Obama joked in honoring the pro basketball champions at the White House.

Jackson is a superb coach, but it would have taken a complete idiot not to succeed with the kind of talent he had on his winning teams.

Oh, I don't know. I actually think that its pretty difficult in today's NBA to get all those primadonnas operating on the same page of the playbook. I remember when Dr. J first arrived in Philly the team was loaded, but they couldn't play together. 5 stars, one ball.
