He’s a lawyer, so he’s ineligible..................

Not ineligible, at least in most places. But unlikely, in the extreme, to not be premptively challenged. No lawyer wants another lawyer on the jury. They don't much like people with analytical skills either, such as scientists, engineers, accountants, etc.

LOL - Last time I was on a jury (August 2008), they made me the foreman... We acquitted the guy (misdemeanor) in 30 minutes. Work smart, work efficient...
