Highly informed sources on Capitol Hill have revealed to me details of the Democratic plan to sneak through Congress Obamacare, despite collapsing public approval for healthcare "reform" and disintegrating Congressional support in the wake of Republican Scott Brown's victory in Massachusetts.

I don’t know. A politicians’ own self interest is the most powerful thing around. They do this and the House reverts back to the Republicans, Pelosi will be a shadow of her wrinkled self and they could very well potentially lose 7-8 senate seats.
I truly don’t think it’s worth it for them to do it this way. I think they will try to pass it in portions in smaller bills. Otherwise their opponents will have so much anti-incumbent, anti-democratic process heavy weaponry to fling at them they will destroy themselves for nothing.
Wonder if that’s why Rep Marion Berry, Ark, is announcing his retirement TOMORROW - ?

Sounds to me like someone is floating a trial balloon. Regardless, still have my doubts that RATS can pull off a bill.
RATS should be doing focus groups right now to find out if they are really better off passing “something” than nothing. They believe the former but IMO they are wrong.
Frank Luntz polled a sample set and asked how many of them would be mad if the Democrats tried to ram this through. Every single person raised their hands including the Obama supporters. When asked if they would support the Democrats if they did such a thing, the Democrats said no because that’s not how our country works.
If they try this, even the most safest seats will be up for grabs come November.
The best advice I heard on the radio last week. The host was quoting his high school coach....”keep on fighting until you hear the whistle blow.” The play is not over yet. We have to keep on the pressure.
“Opponents of Obamacare need to climb all over these 23 Congressmen with TV ads and advocacy campaigns in their districts to get them to change their vote this time, to vote “no” to the Senate bill when it comes before the House.”
So where is the list of 23 blue dog congressmen who voted yes the first time so we can start applying pressure?
This is why the TEA party movement is SO important at this period already. Not because it stands for Taxed Enough Already but rather, more appropriately it stands for Tyranny Exists Already (T.E.A.) as we’re about to see if they pull this off.

I don’t believe this for a second.
Now I believe that such a scenario might have been discussed. I understand that the House CAN pass the Senate bill unammended...in fact that’s pretty much the only option at this point. The Senate stands kind of helpless.
I also believe that Morris’ had a Senate source reveal this to him but that discussion was just that...a discussion that went nowhere.
Morris needs to sound all important you must know...like he’s a world class prognosticator though I prognosticate as well as him.
First....anybody thinks the House gonna pass a bill based on a bunch of Senators’ pledges to later on “fix” some things...I got a bridge to sell, cheap. Much less that many of those senators liable get voted out...especially the grand poohbah senator...ole Reid himself.
Second, like Morris the stopped clock that’s right twice a day, says....there were some really shakey Reps voted for that House bill. After the Mass. debacle anybody thinks they’re going to vote for that senate bill...again, I got a bridge to sell...cheap. Bridge just been renovated.
This was one of those throw all ideas in the pile and let’s talk about it...nothing more than that.
It’s pie in the sky although hey, the House COULD pass the senate bill...it is the only option...but many of those reps are signing their death warrant.
We’ll see who walks the plank.

The Democrats are turning into a death cult with Reid and Pelosi mixing the poison kool-aid and waiting for their members to line up. I expect that they will next be passing out purple veils so their members can ride the comet to the mother ship.
As crazy as this seems, Reid, Pelosi and Obama have all said they are not backing away from this legislation.
And more often than not Morris has been right about what is going on behind the scenes.
I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if they try this.

Perhaps crazy like a fox. Steyn made a point that Obama, Pelosi et al figure this is the only time the Democrats will have all this power. They are willing to sacrifice the Party in order to pass the healthcare bill. Like every other government program, once instituted, it will never be repealed and the best we will end up with is, like France, the conservatives claiming that they can run the left-wing program more economically than the liberals.
