After noting that he could be the only African American Republican in the Senate, Michael Williams is described as "Hyperconservative" and ". . . sunny . . . think of Alan Keyes with a personality transplant."
Commissioner Williams speaks to health care reform and outlines some solutions, too.

Micheal Williams has many more qualifications than being “African-American.” He really is conservative, pro-life, has shown leadership and constructive, functional imagination and thoughtfulness. I believe he has the skills and convictions to be a fantastic Texas Senator.

You know the Dems would go wayyyyy over the top to destroy him if he were to enter national politics. He better have a very clean closet.

The discussion of Commissioner Williams’ “development” (interviewer’s term) of his conservative politics begins about 18 1/2 minutes in.

I think he does have a clean “closet. He’s consistant each time I’ve met and heard him speak. I’ve also met his wife and she is great. I don’t think she’d put up with anything else.

I don’t think he’s light-skinned enough for Harry Reid.

Two outstanding spokesmen for true conservatism: Michael Williams, TX, for U. S. Senate, and Lt. Col. Allen West, FL, for Congress. They are a double threat to the counterfeit claims of the Far Left, because they can draw the attention of minorities away from the oppressive politics of the Democrats and toward the ideas of liberty envisioned by America's Founders.
Independent thought frightens and threatens the enemies of freedom, because their very existence relies on control and censorship of ideas.

As do I.
I've been following his career since the 2000 Texas State GOP Convention in Houston, which Commissioner Williams chaired, and which he ran fairly and efficiently, but with an iron hand!
He is apparently a true conservative, and a fantastic speaker!

Wouldn’t it be great to hear ole Harry Reid talk about Michael Williams? I bet he’d have a few juicy quotes to entertain us.
To: Redbob
I heard him speak at the 2008 convention. Outstanding speaker and a true conservative. I’d support him for anything he chose to run for.

I’m supporting Elizabeth Ames Jones. Do some research on her. I think you will like what you see.
We had the opportunity to meet her and spend some one on one time with her. We were very impressed.

Looks like a bit of racism on Evan Smith’s part, but I thought you’d want to see this description of Commissioner Michael Williams of Texas in terms of Ambassador Keyes.

I'm just saying. Be prepared to see him get the Palin treatment if there's anything remotely attack-worthy in his background. A powerful black who's off the liberal plantation is seen as a major threat to the Left.
