The Colts are gonna regret not taking the Jets out of the playoff’s when they had the chance.

Maybe if the City of Detroit quits picking some loser mayors
Mayors have nothing to do with it, nobody from the city of Detroit ever goes to a game anyway.......Don't forget, before they moved back to the city, they were in Pontiac and still sucked. Well, ok, so Pontiac isn't that much better, but still......
P.S. The Pontiac Silver Dome, previous home of the Lions, recently sold for approx. $500,000.00

I'm almost 60 and my Lions never have..........I could live to be as old as Methusela and they never will. I was pretty sure back in January 1992 that they weren't going to get past Washington in the Lions only NFC title game appearance.

Earl Morral (2nd string) played most of the season 1972 season.

Lions DID win some NFL Championships before some of todays favs were even thought of
That was so long ago that if I'm not mistaken, their only opponents were Christians..........

Jan. 17, 1988 - NFC Championship - Washington 17, Minnesota 10 The Redskins were lucky to get away with this one..Go Jets! A damn good game...overshadowed by Ernest Byner's infamous play in the AFC title game later that day.
To: mainepatsfan
I knew the Redskins would win that game. It’s going to be forever before the Lions get that far again.

Come on dude, the season's over, leave the Lions out of this..........let me guess, you enjoy running up and laughing at people who have fallen out of their wheelchairs too don't you? Hey I'm giving the Browns their proper due as well. :)
To: mainepatsfan
I was five years old watching that AFC game with my father that day. Suffice it to say I learned some new words when Byner lost that ball.

GM & Chrysler are in the metro area. Check out all the Federal Dollars that have gone to that state for the last 40 years. Yeah I know but at least Ford had enough sense to escape from Obama's clutches.
To: mainepatsfan
I really dont care who wins either game today. I think the sports writers are pulling for the Jets and Vikings.
If they are, it will be the first time they were for the Vikings, and if they are, this is the first time I hope they get their wish.

If anyone deserves the credit in the last 8 years of destroying the team, I would give it all to the Genius Matt Millen.
Bright side for Lions is they traded away Roy Williams to Cowgirls. Roy was a great receiver for Texas, but hasn’t done so well in NFL.
Maybe Roy needs Chrissy Simms to toss him the ball.
When traveling to Detroit area I would stay at the Hilton Suites just a block if that from the Dome.
Sad that was all they could get for it. Any plans for it?
I understand some employees of the Dome where ripping everything off from there, true?

"but at least Ford had enough sense to escape from Obama's clutches." NO KIDDING!
Best move ever.
Now if they would just move to a work free state, they could be really something.
Best of luck to them.
I bought a Ford in 2002 (first ever Ford), but they have sense sold that particular division to Tata.
It was a great car. Sold it in 06.

True but the Browns (originally an NFL franchise) have never been there. The Jaguars and Texans have also never been. The list of franchises that have never won one is longer.

Sad that was all they could get for it. Any plans for it?If I'm not mistaken, a Canadian group bought it and rumors of hosting soccer there.

Farve will trip over his ego. If that's the case then at least he'll have a short trip home this time.
To: mainepatsfan
Guess who was coaching the defense for the Jets when they played the colts in the Super Bowl.
