Chevron activists Baruch Marzel and Itamar Ben-Givir, who also serve as parliamentary aides to MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Dr. Michael Ben-Ari, have sent a letter to White House Chief of Staff Rom Emanuel suggesting he celebrate his sons bar mitzvah elsewhere, not at the Kosel as reports indicate he plans to do.
They point out that to our sorrow during the last year, President Barak Obamas tenure in the White House, You have worked against the State of Israel and the Jewish People. They remind Emanuel of his recent comment to Israels consul general to Los Angeles, in which he is quoted as saying I have had it with the Israelis.
You are not the first Jew in history trying to advance himself at the expense of his people. There were traitors before you such as Josephus Flavius and others, who in all likelihood also celebrated their bar mitzvah but we remember them as traitors, seeking riches and honor, at the expense of their people.
Unlike the Government of Israel, we will not bow and participate with all those seeking to hurt the Jewish People, promising if Emanuel comes to Yerushalayim to mark his sons bar mitzvah, he will be met and escorted by protests as is fitting and not with candies and flowers.

That group’s dual birthday loyalty issues are worrisome.
Boy, those Emanuels raised a trio of "winners".....Rahm, Dr. Death, and "Ari Gold"....
Sharon Waxman calls Emanuel the king of the world on The Wrap:
Michael Ovitz should officially hand over the keys of the kingdom to a fast-talking, trash-mouthed, steam-rolling successor to his Hollywood dominion.
It is a rare moment in time and space that allows Ariel Zev Emanuel to hold the kind of power that even Ovitz could only dream about, chronicled today on the front page of the New York Times and concurrently noted by Kim Masters at the Daily Beast.
...
Heres whats unique about this moment: Over 18 months of hard-selling, Emanuel has just pulled off a merger that had William Morris paying Endeavor millions of dollars. And in a matter of weeks hes turned it into a takeover, firing dozens of Morris agents, while leaving Endeavor more or less intact. He has quickly shoved Morris chairman Jim Wiatt to the sidelines, with the Times reporting that Wiatt has decided to leave the agency in the coming months and one rumor suggesting that the agency ex-chief may go work with Chase Carey at News Corp. (An individual close to Wiatt denied it.)
The stage has been set for some time. Emanuel cannily figured out how to create positive spin in the blogosphere as he plottedwith a hotline to agency-centrals Deadline Hollywood Daily that guaranteed Nikki Finkes scoops, while ensuring Emanuel positive coverage throughout the merger-takeover process.
He already has a television avatar in Jeremy Pivens Ari Gold, who channels Emanuels testosterone temperament with barely a touch of hyperbole. (I nearly choked when I heard a teenager say the other day that they wanted to be just like him.)
Finally, Emanuel holds an ace in the hole that most could only dream about: His brother Rahm runs the White House.
Mike Ovitz, Lew Wasserman and Louis B. Mayer would all have to tip their hats before this kind of power play.
Can you say "dual loyalites"?!?
Yep. Ol' Rahm sure is fanatically pro-Israel.
Let's pass a law asking Catholics to disown the Pope while we're at it, since no religion has any business having holy places outside the good ol' US of A.
He’s got fair warning from people who are not influenced in the slightest by political correctness and will stand up to anybody who works to destroy them.
He would be smart to heed their warning, but since he is a stupid com- symp I’m sure he will be there.
Glad they have the traitor’s number.
Eh...he ought to forget about the whole exercise; he is to Judaism as Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd are to Catholicism.
Sure it is a big deal. Rahm is Dathan incarnate, building his golden calf..

Sonderkommando Emanuel.
Totally agree.
nuts, let him go to israel and the israelis can arrest him for impersonator a jew, and trespassing. throw him in an israeli prison and if o screams Israel simply says shut up you bastard child. there it has been said, who cares if causes an international incident, the american people will support Israel and the pissant in the Whine House will cry and cry
May I recommend Venezuela ?
His hands seem rather small for a man which such chutzpah
that was a shock to me as well. maybe adoption? Unless I see the long form birth certificate, I’m skeptical :)
Add Kathleen Sebelius to that list.
I read yesterday that he is married and has three kids. Supposedly he just moved them to DC and is renting out his Chicago digs. However if you look at his hand in the rather unbecoming picture of juvenile behavior you will notice he doesn’t wear a ring. I have no idea if that is Jewish custom or not.
There's coming a darkness to my soul. After I laughed at your comment - I realized I agreed.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

A rather silly issue, Rahm is far from a Jophesus, and his political positions shouldn't reflect on his childrens faith or religion. It is entertaining to see a tread where he can be accused of being anti-Israel in the same breath the disloyalty of all Jews is raised. There's some consistancy lacking.
This sort of thing is so far beyond the realm of experience for traditional WASP Americans that - gosh, we honestly don't have polite terms in which we could try to describe it.
Frankly, words like "treason" are what come to mind for us.
If the president's most trusted advisor thinks that the good ol' U. S. of A. isn't, well, good enough for his son's birthday party, then we have a very, very serious problem on our hands.
AMEN!
I am not picketing some kid’s bar mitzva at the Kotel. I don’t care what his father did. I wouldn’t picket Josephus’ kid’s bar mitzva either, even assuming arguendo that he was a “traitor”. I wouldn’t picket Rudolph Kastner’s kid’s bar mitzva. Leave the kids out of this.
