Agreed. Someone said the other day they thought Jeb would be a good candidate for President. I had to bring up Terry to indicate I thought he wouldn’t.

You people don’t know what you’re talking about. Jeb Bush did order state police to remove Terri from the hospice and was told by the local sheriff’s office there would be a show-down in the parking lot if they tried it. He sent his cops in defiance of a judge’s order and they were stopped en route.

So in other words, Fat Boy backed down like the wimp he is. He was the bloody Governor for godsakes, he should have sent in the Florida National Guard if necessary or lead the police himself personally, what were they going to, shoot the Governor? I doubt it.

Even the Governor is trumped by the local sheriff. Did you not know that state law enforcement has to consult with the local sheriff to operate in their country?
You better know your sheriff and have faith in him...you know that is why Sheriff Arpaio has been elected over and over again.
The Governor is the ultimate executive authority in any State. When local law enforcement breaks down (as in the case with Terri Schiavo when the local sheriff’s department was operating as an accessory to murder on orders of a corrupt Judge (George W. Greer) it is the responsibility of the Governor to restore order, if necessary at the point of a gun or guns carried by the National Guard.
This has nothing to do with Sheriff Joe in Arizona, it has everything to do with homicide carried out under the faux cover of ‘judicial order’.

Jeb Bush tried to legally stop her starvation, but a judge overruled him and ordered her death. By the way, the judge is a member of a group that advocates starvation of the handicapped.
