Jeb Bush did order state police to remove Terri from the hospice and was told by the local sheriff’s office there would be a show-down in the parking lot if they tried it. He sent his cops in defiance of a judge’s order and they were stopped en route.

Actually, the Congressional subpoena trumped EVERYTHING and Bush allowed local authorities to ignore that.

I was on site. I asked the top law enforcement officer there what he would do if someone showed up with an order from the Governor. He laughed out loud and said with no hesitation they would follow it. The Governor is the top law enforcement officer of the State of Florida.
