Team Obama may have learned at least one important lesson from Tuesdays electoral debacle: Americans are serious about national security.
Heres hoping, anyway.
Just a day after Republican Scott Brown won the Senate seat in deep-blue Massachusetts, the administrations pick to head the Transportation Security Administration, Erroll Southers, was forced to drop out.
He blamed politics.
In fact, Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) had raised legitimate questions over whether Southers thought TSA personnel key cogs in the nations security network should be allowed to form a union. Not satisfied that Southers had adequately addressed his concerns, DeMint held up the nomination.

In retrospect, a good thing, that brought about another good thing.
Can’t they put up ANYONE that isn’t corrupt or dishonest?
It is as if they don’t know anyone not corrupt or dishonest, or worse, they regard those principles highly. Sort of evidence of success.
