Kerry’s SECOND hip replacement? At his age and life expectancy? Why didn’t he just take pain meds? I don’t think the death panel would have approved the second operation for you or for me.
When Scott Brown visited Lurch in his own office, he was visibly uncomfortable.
I don't know why. Personally, I think they're mad; drunk with whatever power or influence they have and obsessed with with self-importance. Some just stay on to see how much wealth they can finagle out of the system with backroom deals, business ventures (hidden from the public of course) and selling their influence.
Who? Lurch or Scott Brown?
In a word, yes.
And being Senator is a pretty good gig. Think about it.
You're not paid as much as a big-time corporate executive. But you don't have their responsibilities, either. And you can lord it over them with impunity.
You've got a better expense account and more perks, too. And you get waited on and catered to everywhere, just because you are what you are.
It's a three-day workweek. And, if you don't want to take it seriously, you can. Or you could go skiing at Sun Valley.
Can't beat the retirement benefits, either.
“When Scott Brown visited Lurch in his own office, he was visibly uncomfortable.”
Did you notice Lurch’s eyebrows? I couldn’t take my eyes off of them! I don’t know if he got botox injections or a face lift or what but his eyebrows were at a greater than 45 degree angle to his eyes, and not centered over them.
Truly weird looking.
RJL,
Can you imagine having to wakeup next to that scary woman?
Ya know all that money would pave the way a little BUT.
Just a gigalo,
MOrning StormEye,
I know you’ve read these stories the last few days where Kerry had been itching to get out from under the swimmers shadow and be Mass. numero uno senator.Only to be vastly overshadowed by Brown.
And ya know he is wondering and worrying about any future re-election.
meanwhile I just hope he is in serious discomfort with every step.
Yeah but with his wife’s money he could go to a doctor in say Tijuana and simply pay for any operation.
Lurch. He was shifting from foot to foot and uneasily looking about
“They ran like rats” - Joe Early
Finally, a realistic description of what has taken place. For a long time I've been saying that the federal government is acting more like an occupying power than the government of, by and for the people.
Didn't you know? the foot shifting is involuntary. He can't help it. There's a motor now in his hips, kinda like a wind up toy. Ever see a wind up toy walk and then be blocked by an object? It keeps on walking yet goes nowhere.
