Think of how FDR is still lionized, and what a lying, thieving, freedom stealing fascist that b@$t@rd was (remember he was an admirer of Joe Stalin for one of many damning details). The only good news is that the enemedia that did the lionizing and making FDR (and Teddy) into heroes is dying, a slow painful death. Hopefully they’ll slip completely under the waves before they make Teddy into an American historical icon.

The money quote:

"As a result, as some people have noted, the Republicans will now enjoy a 41-59 majority in the Senate."

“With Air America dropping dead, can MSNBC be far behind?”

They may remain on life support for a while longer. Someone has to keep “hope alive.”

In answer to your question, it is a plain fact that the assassinations of JFK and RFK were the best things that could ever have happened for Ted Kennedy. As the "last Kennedy" he was granted a lifetime pass by the Massholes.

That is why they had about one eighth the viewers of Fox on election night.

I wouldn’t underestimate 0 and the rats. They can still do it. But it would be an enormous risk. We should be prepared for that eventuality. However, the rest of the agenda is in risk.

And if Obama does go through with this, he will singlehandedly destroy the Democrat Party. This is Scorched Earth Politics at its very worst.

I wouldn’t put it past him. We should be prepared, either way.

Yes, indeed. I was taken aback by the vituperative vitriol as expressed by one of its own.

But as the events began unfolding, the realization that to a certain degree these hard-core Kennedy-sycophants were living out their worst left wing nightmare imaginable, a veritable "Perfect Storm" of political disaster, self-immolation, much too intoxicated by the heavenly political ambrosia that was the Senate victory to do anything but bathe in all its glorious schadenfreude delight.

First, their political mentor, the last vestige, link, heir to (oh God, I can hardly even type the words) America's Royalty, every bit and more , the majestic, leonine leader, role model, he was. had now moved on.

Really, the only real thing leonine about this scaredy-cat lion is his fear of water, he just hates the water, can't handle staying in the water.

But he wasn't that indispensable because "the Redeemer" was in their midst, "the Messiah" would transform the vast amber waves of grain, fruited plains into a Socialist left wing liberal Disney land Utopia, no waiting ever all rides are free. that would make Camelot seem like some Black and White TV Land re-run.

He had the gift, didn't he? Well, at least he said he did, Hope he kept the receipt.

But somehow that's not turning out all that he promised.

And then, this, the election of doom. The third wave of a political tsunami that nearly had the left wing's very own Praetorian Guard's head explode right there on the live broadcast.

Ahhh,it would have been glorious.

Oh, I know, and it why I pray. But it's going to be rather difficult for those idiot 'Blue Dog' Democrats who represent heavily Red states. Heck, there's even talk out here in California (of all places!) of ousting ditsy Barbara Boxer. Which would be an exceedingly great thing.

One thing is for sure, Obama will most likely wind up as the most hated President in this country's history. He'll even make Jimmy Carter almost look as good as Ronald Reagan (which is quite a stretch I'll admit) or Gerald Ford for that matter.

To borrow from Sting and The Police, Obama's a Demolition Man, a walking and talking Wrecking Ball.

Here is a question.

KO and others continue to use the reference ‘tea bagging’, knowing full well that it refers to gay oral sex.

The Patriots movement is known as the ‘tea party’. It never had the word ‘bag’ in it.

SO, why hasn’t the ACLU, NAMBLA, GLSEN, and GLT community filed lawsuits? Why aren’t they protesting this specific reference to a homosexual activity?

Not a time for complacency.

"Although all men are born free, slavery has been the general lot of the human race. Ignorant—they have been cheated; asleep—they have been surprised; divided—the yoke has been forced upon them. But what is the lesson? ... the people ought to be enlightened, to be awakened, to be united, that after establishing a government, they should watch over it ... It is universally admitted that a well-instructed people alone can be permanently free." - James Madison

I have actually delighted in watching MSNBC this week for the first time in ages (or ever really). The anger, blame-shifting and confusion by Matthews, Olberman, and Shultz have kept a smile on my face. I expect it to be very similiar to the warm fuzzies we’ll feel November 2012, can’t wait!

I might drive to D.C. for that one myself.

Haven’t been there for a protest since 73 and Nixon.

Any thing they do to pass the healthcare rip off will look like underhanded govt. b.s. at this point.
I think some Dems will refuse to fall on their swords for this big eared punk.

Seems like 0 is doubling down, bringing in people from the campaign (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2435712/posts). Something is going to have to give. This is more exiting than a Mexican Telenovela.

You are right. The whole Kennedy/Camelot thing is unknown to many. I am 48yo and was 3yo when JFK was killed in office and only 8 when RFK was killed. My younger sisters who are 35 and almost 40 ask “who”?
