Sarah is doing this at the risk of her own reputation. It may surprise you that when Sarah was on the Beck show last week, she agreed McCain was a progressive. None the less it looks like she's going to support him. Here's a question you may want to contemplate. If Sarah becomes president, does she adopt his agenda or does he adopt hers? If she sticks to her's, John will more than likely oppose her on a numbers of issues.
So not only is it destructive to the nation for her to back him, it very easily could turn out to be self-destructive to her potential first term in office. Good idea? Absolutely not!

The problem is, John McCain is the party right now. He was it's presidential candidate. So I'm baffled as to why you think the party needs to be taken back. If you like McCain, there's no need for any change whatsoever.
