SCF is a political action committee dedicated to electing strong conservatives to the United States Senate. We do not support liberal Republicans and we are not affiliated with the Republican Party or any of its campaign committees.
SCF seeks to bring bold conservative leadership to Washington by supporting only the most rock-solid, conservative candidates nationwide -- candidates who believe in the principles of limited government, strong national defense, and traditional family values.

First I've heard of it, and I've not seen it posted here before.
DeMint is the GOLD STANDARD!
This is good news then. A genuine alternative to donating to RINO’s via Michael Steele.
Had you heard of it? I hadn’t. Maybe DeMint should publicize it more or maybe it’s brand new.
This was the first I have heard of it! I think it’s great!
Heard it also. Thanks!
Or, would Brown qualify to be one of those 30 'only true conservatives' that DeMint wants in the Senate?
It may require that the candidate be pro-life. If so, Brown would not qualify.
Sen Demint has been doing some good work. He’s one we should be watching with an eye towards 2012.
But too many and they'll end up tarnishing the party in the long run, leading people to believe Republicans don't stand for anything except power and can't be trusted with power.
Think of Mike Castle, Mark Kirk, Carly Fiorina swelling the ranks of senate liberals, working with Obama to help pass his liberal agenda.
We're better served, in the long term, having a strong, principled minority than a weak, corrupt majority.
Now once you have established the criteria and judged the group or population on their conformance to the SPTC criteria, you will have a smaller group of SPTCs.
But there will still be differences among this group of SPTCs. Some will be more of a SPTC, some will be less of of a SPTC and some will be an average SPTC.
Then, you have to refine the group again using a more precise set of criteria.
Then, after you have done that, you have to do again. And again.
Eventually there will only be two SPTCs left, lets say you and DeMint.
Then, each of you will turn on the other.
You have an imagination but you don’t know what to use if for...
It makes no difference whether you are measuring good conservatives or good liberals or good teachers or good students.
Again, you write a series of words but lack the ability to apply them. Perhaps it’s the difference between someone with bedrock values and principles vs those who slip-slide all over a distribution curve? Hard to tell where you’re coming from, if anywhere.
But before I cut you loose, I'll try to explain it to you a different way.
The "True Conservative" movement is destined to fail because the more successful it is, the more likely it is to fail.
You can see this in the problems the Tea Bag Movement has begun to encounter or the failure of the very narrow Minuteman Movement.
It is easy to organize people into a group to be against something, but difficult to shift the group to be for something. That is when discension and the backstabbing begins.
I think the vast majority of people are satisfied with conservatives of any stripe, as well as moderates who are honest, upfront, principled, trustworthy.
As far as picking national leaders, or individual politicians to support financially, surely you can understand that people want to pick the best of the best and have a much higher standard.
