Fox News shaking up its midday lineup, Megyn Kelly gets new show

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Megyn Kelly will begin solo anchoring a new two-hour dayside program from 1-3PM ET on Monday February 1st which will replace The Live Desk, announced Michael Clemente, Senior Vice President of News Editorial for the network. Bill Hemmer will now be joined by Martha MacCallum in co-anchoring America’s Newsroom from 9-11AM ET, where he will begin FNC’s signature daytime news programming block (9AM-4PM/ET). The remainder of the dayside line-up will continue in its current form.

I thought she was never coming back, she's been gone so long. I like the idea of her doing a solo show, primarily because I am sick of all the banter that two-sies & three-sies must engage in --- it wastes a huge hunk of time and is entirely unnewsworthy.

She is so intelligent that I'd rather listen to what she has to say directly to the camera or to her guests, and none of that conversational banter which really gets on my nerves, it's all over the airwaves, banter banter followed by rude interruptions and then more banter banter. I rarely turn the TV on anymore.

Megan Kelly is not only really, really smart but she’s really, really FAST at it. You might find another mind that works as well, but I’ve never seen anyone who can process and analyze so quickly.
