Garrison Keillor stamping his feet and cursing at everthing from Tea Partyers, to churches, to Rush, to the cruise line industry which for some inexplicable reason should stop operating around Haiti because of the earthquake.
Say what??
Go drone into a tape recorder somewhere, Garrison. The MA voters spoke loud and clear.

The basic question is simple: Should health care be a basic right or is it a privilege for those who can afford it?
It is a privilege for those who can afford it. Next question.

we prefer to sit quietly with coffee in hand and read a reliable newspaper and try to figure out what's going on in the world. Hey Garrison, people are reading newspapers less and less these days. It's 2010, buddy. Wake the f up.

He doesn’t like people very much.

Garrison Keeler:
The tea partiers are enjoying their day in the sun, but coffee is the beverage preferred by most Americans, and we don't have time to gang up and holler and wave our arms -- we prefer to sit quietly with coffee in hand and read a reliable newspaper and try to figure out what's going on in the world. The Daily Worker, for instance, Comrade?!!!
If you don't read the MSM, the Left says you are uninformed. But if you DO read the MSM, you are MISINFORMED.

Hey Garrison - Too bad, so sad. It’s obvious that there are more Tea drinkers than so called Coffee drinkers at this point in time. And they are the most influential and becoming more so by the day.

-"The problem for Democrats right now is that nobody can explain health-care reform in plain English, 50 words or less." Yes - I can: OBAMACARE = "Death Panels"
There! End of story!

Reid is the gentlest and most patient soul in the U.S. Senate LOL!

None of the reliable news sources gave any creedence to the possiblity of an upset in this election and did not put together an exit polling coverage pool.
So much for what THEY know. Dumb&&&.

It’s the typical Garrison Keillor I’m-so-much-smarter-than-all-you-stupid-hicks-out-there drivel. He was never this arrogant when he was working his way up the ladder. What an ass he has become.
To: prairiebreeze
I guess us yokels is jes too stoopid to unnerstan healthcare reform.
And that’s the news from Lake Backwoods.

Keillor used to be funny....then he decided like a lot of the rest of the entertainment yahoos that because people pay to have a laugh we must want to know all about their political views.
Go sit in the corner GK with Streisand, Baldwin, Penn and the rest of those jerks who should just be counting their blessings....WHILE THEY CAN!

Screw that a-hole. I have had no use for him ever since his audience broke into cheers with the announcement that Reagan had passed away.
