Top 25 Speeches

RONALD REAGAN OCTOBER 27, 1964:

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.

We'll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we'll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of darkness.

We will keep in mind and remember that Barry Goldwater has faith in us. He has faith that you and I have the ability and the dignity and the right to make our own decisions and determine our own destiny.

Was he that brilliant to see the future shining city on the hill, or is it just obvious? Or was it "trickle down" ideology from our ancestors?

And of course, the more specific: Reagan on Socialized Medicine

But I think "the speech" says it all.

Your favorite?

My favorite part of Scott Brown’s speech was where he thanked Mitt Romney. Mitt is working for us, guys and gals. Lets give Mitt a big thank you just like our new Senator-Elect Brown.

God bless President Reagan. Mitt’s for socialized medicine. Game, Set, Match. Go home Mitt. This is a ground-up movement.

He thanked Romney, and McCain! Things will get wierd around FR when people start to decide Brown is a "RINO."

But of course, that would be ok with Reagan's 11th commandment as long as it stops the slide into the abyss of the last, best hope for mankind.

It’s an interesting quandry. What would Reagan do?

He would probably run against Mitt head-to-head, but then, he’d probablyhave worked with Mitt to make sure Brown got elected.

Mitts just working an angle as usual. He’s a socialized medicine champion of it’s first failure in the US.

He’s the Republican version of Bill Clinton and we need to shake him off our leg.

Heck, I’d take one of the Maine RINO twins winning in Massachusetts.

I have the actual video of the FULL speech, not this excerpt with a “buy it now” advert at the end.

The actual speech is longer than 4 minutes.

Someone trying to sell stuff on FR?

I can post my copy on a bittorrent site if I see this again. My copy will be free.

Are you already the biggest ahole on this board, or are you trying to win the title from scratch?
