Romney lived this one vicariously through Brown, but interestingly enough the two big politicians I saw the most involved with Brown were Romney & Giuliani...is this the Republican model for the Northeast now?? ...magritte

You are wrong. Romney was heavily involved.

Odd thing, Magritte. Brown does not oppose Roe vs. Wade, (neither does Giuliani who holds no office, btw). Yet, his vote against Obamacare, will help the pro-life cause. Most avowed pro-lifers recognized the need for pragmatism in this instance.

Toomey, a candidate for Senate in PA, who spoke at our Tea Party and who many in our Tea Party group (including myself) will work to elect, is both socially and fiscally conservative and differs from Brown in that regard. Thus, there isn't necessarily a trend to run NEW socially liberal candidates in the Northeast.

Let's hope after we take back Congress, we can get rid of the (R) Senators from Maine.
