To put this in perspective, in 2006 Kennedy got 1,500,738 votes and his Republican opponent got 661,532. So far tonight, with 17% of precincts reporting, Brown has about 200,000 votes. He’s on track to pull in over 1 million. How much over 1 million will tell the tale.

WBZ said some Boston precincts came in Brown 48 / Coakley 52.
Re my earlier post, WBZ is ending their webcast in a couple of minutes so they can do their regular news.

Too close. Don’t want Brown to win by 5-6%, want to see him win by 10-15%. Then sit back and enjoy as the Rats jump the ship.

Do they count cities first and then outlying areas? If so, the news should get better as the night goes on.

From MassLive.com, two precincts are reporting turnout percentages:
Wales reporting 441 Brown / 244 Coakley / 15 Kennedy. 55.2% turnout.
Springfield check-in: 23 / 64 precincts, Coakley 4,851 / Brown 2,631 / Kennedy 129. 27.44% turnout.
It looks like Coakley is having a turnout problem.

The inner city vote is usually closer to the Court Houses and Election Offices.

I’ll be rather happy with any Brown win, but I do agree that 10% or more will make a lot more Demagogues suicidal, and/or homicidal toward each other!
We need enough people nationwide to recognize a total repudiation of the socialist program, and not just more of “oops, we (Democraps) just had the wrong candidate etc.”
CRUSH the socialists now!
