While talking to Pat Cadell and Sean Hannity just now.
Camelot was nothing more than a fart in the bathtub that took forever for the bubble to make it to the top.
:o)
Don’t worry,Satan has a 60 inch HD tv following the results with old Ted by his side.
Yes! And to watch it sober as well.
Personally, I wish Mary Jo Kopechne could have lived to see this.
I thought that I was the only one that old ;-)
Ya know, y’all........I don’t get Pat Cadell. I clearly remember seeing him on the tube in past years and being FURIOUS at his uber-liberal arrogance. I wanted to bitch-slap him every time I saw or heard him.
Yet, now......he’s one of the most sensible political observers on TV. I see him on Glenn Beck’s show, Hannity, etc.....and he’s honest, open, forthright, and seems to be such a staunch supporter of the Constitution, etc., etc.
Good on him on all counts, mind you, but.....what the hell happened to effect such change? Anyone know, for real?
Concerning Pat Cadell, this is JMHO:
Pat is tired, resigned to his fate. He is still an aged-in-the-wood liberal, but has glumly decided that the FDR-LBJ-TedKennedy god has failed.
He therefore offers opinions that are sober and based on nothing but the facts. But even in the old USSR they knew the power of the truth; there was TASS, Pravda, and Izvestiya for the toiling masses. But for the Party elite, there was “White TASS”; facts-only summaries of world events, and classified top secret.
Pat Cadell discusses reality & truth but still wishes for the liberal ideal city upon the hill, knowing full well that the American masses will never vote for it. He clings to the fantail of the Titanic, knowing that even as it sinks it is still the highest point on the ship.
No respite!
