Lots of fluctuation today, presumably as holders of Brown contracts take their gains.

68% chance of winning! I guess it means Obama's arrival in support of Coakely was a major flop!

Heh

No one seriously expects Brown to get 65% of the vote. Rather, the Intrade stats show that two-thirds of the investors believe he can win Tuesday.

Could the Patriots of Massachusetts right the ship once again?

Yeah, I wondered about that, too. Maybe the Coakley and Brown contracts trade independently. My guess is there's an opportunity for arbitrage if you've got lots of time, and money, on your hands.

Usually correct when the bidding closes.

Brown bid: 61.1
Brown ask: 72.0
Naw. Bid/ask spreads are huge. The market is making a big move toward Brown right now, but hasn't found the right price. Spreads have blown out for Coakley, too, but not as much. You're not going to find an arbitrage opportunity with those wide spreads.

I hope so, they damn sure haven't been much help the last 50 years.

Still gotta count the votes.

Still gotta get past Eric Holder, ACORN, SEIU, etc.

Still gotta get past any SCOTUS challenges...I predict Clarence Thomas and Scalia will become and will be true patriots within the next 2 years and will be visible and audible in what they say and do...that is to make the US understand the purpose and importance of the Constitution...I believe instead of being quiet and only writing opinions...they’ll instead break from tradition and be visible and audible...

Rembember, Rush makes crazy predictions...I ain’t Rush, but I think something will push real patriots like them over the edge, too.

It was only 30 years ago that Ronald Reagan carried the Bay State. He did it again in 1984. I never imagined in my lifetime I would see another Republican win the state. This is a special moment to savor.
