Basically it involves grinding society between "millstones" until it fits a preconcieved notion of what a society should be.

We, as a society, are being manipulated toward accepting some form of socialism by use of contrived situations to change our perception of "is".

Many people now believe that socialism is the only viable way to prevent armegeddon, although this goes against their personal desire for freedom and individuality. This is the desired result.

AGW, climate change, the nuclear threat game and anything else the marxists can imagine are the millstones.
