Yes, it is sad indeed.
I like both of you and think you are both great but I had a thought
thinking about Katrina...
having been in Haiti...
I would rather have been in the Superdome or NOLA convention center during Katrina as a southern white guy with all Haitian fairly pure Africans than the American black bunch that wrecked the havoc they did there
I realize Haiti is so screwed having worked there years ago for some time but if my money can help some kid from dying today then so be it not matter how bleak his/her future might look
just my perception and I sure don’t have much reputation here as emotional or soft on race candor
so I’m giving....a fair amount....doctors w/out borders and Samaritans Purse which Dr Frist is down there with
i don’t trust Red Cross
Hey wardaddy. How are you? Happy New Year!
I have no issue with people donating. Obviously there is great need down there and it will help save lives.
My issue is with with the thousands of able bodied young men who could be helping dig out survivors, deliver supplies and off-load equipment.
You are thousands of miles away and feel the pain of the victims. They are right there to see it and do nothing. Very sad.
