Saw a segment on this on Fox a little while ago. What I don’t get is why if a news crew can get to the orphanage, why can’t they pack up those kids?

Our pastor this morning spoke of a group of people within our synod in the middle of adopting over 100 Haitian children. Several were scheduled to receive their final papers on the day of the earthquake. The worst part is that some are nearing 16. Once they are 16, they cannot be adopted and brought to the states.

Their official paperwork now lies at the bottom of a pile of rubble.

Prayers needed for these children indeed.
