The democrats have sprung a last minute "gotcha" video of Scott Brown saying he wasn't sure if Obama's mother was married at the time of his birth.

This transcript shows Michelle Obama saying: "Barack saw his mother, who was very young and very single when she had him, and he saw her work hard to complete her education and try to raise he and his sister."

This took place at a speech at the July 10th 2008 round table discussion at Pierson Auditorium on the campus of the University of Missouri - Kansas City.

Here's how this will play out.

As you can see from the links I posted here a few minutes ago, this is part of a stump speech that Michelle Obama had been giving.

In 2007, the version of that line was: "He saw his mother, a very young, very single-parent trying to finish her education and raise two children across two continents."

Democrats will say that Michelle mis-spoke when she said "when she had him." If they go that route, then they cannot then blame Brown for believing what he read about the 2008 Kansas City Roundtable comments.

If they acknowledge the comments, then Brown was just repeating what Michelle Obama said.
