This particular find is not old news. It was just announced this week. This was an area that the big boys had pulled out of and smaller drillers came in and started going deep.
I contend that we can never have enough energy sources as opposed to what the article implies. We still buy NG from over seas and this will allow us to reduce purchases.

All i know i read about a find a few years back that could power the entire USA for 20 some years and that there was a political struggle over it due to it being at election time. I think read it was one of the reasons Bush won in Flori”DuH”.
