It’s bad enough that Brown is poro-abortion, but now THIS? Thank God I don’t live is Massachusetts.

I’d not heard he was a pro-abort..? In fact, I’d heard the opposite. Is this information available at his website? Has anyone got information stating explicitly that he has taken a pro-about stand?

This is from his website directly:

Abortion

While this decision should ultimately be made by the woman in consultation with her doctor, I believe we need to reduce the number of abortions in America. I believe government has the responsibility to regulate in this area and I support parental consent and notification requirements and I oppose partial birth abortion. I also believe there are people of good will on both sides of the issue and we ought to work together to support and promote adoption as an alternative to abortion.

This is the 1st time I have read his views on my own, all I knew in the past is what I've read here on FR. Kinda middle of the road to me.

Read my post #38 and others that spell out the same thing - save this for another day - don't start splitting hairs now -

Today's task is to win this fight.

WE can nit pick another day - and if we win this fight, at least we'll HAVE another day!

Now is not time to “find fault with the morning red” to quote a Massachusetts man...

Just because Brown respects that Roe v. Wade is settled law doesn’t make him pro-abortion.

Brown is running on the majority values of his constituents and I’m sure there are some who don’t agree with him but it appears the majority does. That’s what he needs to do, make his followers in Mass happy. He doesn’t need to make the people in Wyoming, etc happy.

Some people are never satisfied unless they find *the* perfect candidate for them. It must be lonely out there.

I think I smell a troll... And I’ve seen a few of them here the last few days on these threads, frankly. He went ahead and described Brown as a “progressive”. As far as I can remember I’ve NEVER heard someone refer to a suspected “RINO” as “progressive”. Take McCain for example - liberal, RINO, traitor even, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone here use the term “progressive”. It’s a word that seemingly ONLY comes out of a LIBERAL’s mouth when they are trying to distance themselves from the socialists in the Dem Party...

Perhaps I’m wrong about the poster, and if so I apologize. My “spidey-sense” is working overtime right now on this one though.
