Democrats Fret That the Public Is Dissatisfied

BOSTON — There may be no better place to measure the shifting fortunes of President Obama and the Democratic Party than in the race being fought here this weekend for the Senate seat that had been held by Edward M. Kennedy.

When Mr. Obama was inaugurated one year ago this week, he and his party had big majorities in the Senate and House, enjoyed the backing of much of the country and were confidently preparing to enact an ambitious legislative agenda. Republicans seemed directionless and the conservative movement exhausted.

This weekend, Democrats are struggling to hang on to a seat held by Mr. Kennedy for 46 years in one of the most enthusiastically Democratic states in the country. Conservatives are enjoying a grass-roots resurgence, and Republicans are talking about taking back the House in November.

A lot of moderate Democrats are going to announce their retirements next week. After Massachusetts, none of them want to be around in November. The GOP is going to regain control of the House.

“Dissatisfied? The public is just dissatisfied? How about angry almost to the point of taking up arms in open revolt?”

Lets see if they are just “dissatified” if they lose the Senate seat! ;-)

...Mr. Bayh said. “I don’t think the American people last year voted for higher taxes, higher deficits and a more intrusive government. But there’s a perception that that is what they are getting.”

A perception? Perception???

NAGOURNEY fails to mention the contempt the liberal elite have expressed for the opposition. Congress’ “let them eat cake” condescension is revolting.

Diva Pelosi is a disgusting person. Reid? revolting. The Kenyan? Repulsive.

It’s amazing that the Kenyan took Bill Clinton’s view that all would be well after passing ObamaCare. Bill was just setting the table for a Hillary comeback.

What dopes.

Dems to the voting public,

"Go back to sleep, your eyelids getting heavy, sleep.....pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.....go to sleep, dammit!

You're not allowed to think, now shut up!! Don't touch that dial!!!"

They haven't a clue. Intrade now shows Brown carrying Massachusetts by a landslide. That hasn't happened for a Republican since Reagan's day.

Um....Let me guess, they have ONLY spent/bankrupted us by over 6 Trillion dollars this year alone on their operating budgets, and several Omnibus and “Porkulus” bills and quadrupled the deficit.

What's to be upset about?

They are a closed-minded group who believe their own propaganda. They said the tea parties were a fake, astroturfed movemnet paid for by the insurance companies. And the idiots believed their own press releases. People that dullwitted do not deserve consideratiuon. They need to be exterminated from the public square, permanently.

“It’s happening right after the holidays, so a lot of people haven’t even heard about it. “

LMFAO... Nobody was supposed to hear about it....The Rats themselves scheduled this whole thing so they could quietly and seamlessly fill the seat.
Sounds like a butterfly ballot issue to me.I can’t wait to hear the cries of “a lot of people were disenfranchised” because of the scheduling.

Public Is Dissatisfied

Now why would that be? Anything to do with the destruction of liberty and freedom? Enslavement by "health care" and "global warming" scams? Brazen bribery and chicanery to get health care through the Senate? Stealing of election?

We are not "dissatisfied." We're rebellious and the Democrats don't know how angry the American people are. That's been the problem all along.

Mr. Bayh said. “I don’t think the American people last year voted for higher taxes, higher deficits and a more intrusive government. But there’s a perception that that is what they are getting.” ----------------------------- Not perception. It's reality. And by the way, Mr. Bayh, we don't like to be dismissed, ridiculed and lied to. We don't like to be profiled as potential terrorists and described as an unruly mob of racists. We don't like the arm twisting, extortion tactics and general bullying from government when dealing with the private sector. We don't like the backroom wheeling and dealing at our expense, bribes included. We don't like much of anything coming from this congress and this executive branch.
