Anger turned to violence on the streets of Haiti as earthquake survivors lost their patience with the painfully slow process of getting international aid to those desperate for food, water and medical treatment.

Very well put. Not exactly correct because it can be read different ways and smears too broadly, but close enough.
Im really tired of watching people standing around waiting for someone to rescue them.

I understand your sentiment but these folks started last week almost nothing and now they have nothing but sorrow. They are hungry, thirsty, injured, and greiving-every last one of them. Give them a break-they need one.
Entitlement mentality. Yet certainly are there not many folks worth saving there? [puzzling]
I’m tired of mortgaging my kids future to help people who don’t appreciate it. There has been plenty of anti-american sentiment coming out of there. Americans have been helping them for years.
They will need their extended family sent over (100 members per child) with endless FREEbies. This is going to be a nightmare.
Do you notice the difference between this and Katrina? In this case, the problems arise because it’s nearly impossible to get supplies into the area and then distribute them. In New Orleans, the fact that most of the city was under water made for pretty pictures of Sean Penn, but the press ignored the fact that flooded streets prevented relief efforts.
That too.
Let’s just say it. GOD ROCKS!!! He is a God of WRATH!!!!!
Did you also see how the men were trampling over the women and children to get to the food? Pretty sad :(
They sure do. But then what? Is this going to become a habit?
Seems to me a person has got to stop and ask themselves what kind of a pathetic excuse of a nation can’t take care of its own earthquake? That’s not an insult leveled at the suffering individuals mind you. It’s an insult to their government at all levels and all division of their service sector.
They’ve got no government. no service sector. no economy. no entrepreneurs. no community leadership.
Why does this country exist? Why hasn’t it been invaded and taken over by a more capable country? I would guess someone is taking care of their national defense for them too. Could that be the great satan? Those evil capitalists in north america?
Im tired of mortgaging my kids future to help people who dont appreciate it. There has been plenty of anti-american sentiment coming out of there. Americans have been helping them for years.

You need to put aside your your frustration and realize this is natural disaster-not a politcal one. Have a heart when it is appropriate. This is that time.
I guess if you had it your way we should just let em rot and starve, after all they deserve it.
Maybe the responsible ones should go live at a friends house or maybe catch a plane and move to another country.(like that is an option)
We can argue civics and foreign policy later. Lets at least agree that there are no doubt more than a million people that didn’t deserve this.
Isn’t everyone that dies worth saving?
I havn’t watched even a minute of television. So all I know is what I’m reading here on FR. seems to me the bottleneck is the runways. If I was running the show down there, I’d tell the world NO MORE AIRPLANE LANDINGS. Drop everything with parachutes or touch and go with helicopters. Let haitians round up their own volunteers to run things on the ground. If there’s problems with bandits, send in the gunships and mow the F*ers down.
that is really good to hear thank you . Yes I am sure there are many exceptions to the general truth about Haitian culture.
Things weren’t exactly peachy down there before the quake. Why weren’t you down there then saving everyone? I’m sure there were a million poor wretches then that weren’t getting what you think they deserve.
Haiti = New Orleans.
Democrat welfare states are all the same.
Then it is settled-just let em rot.
