Anger turned to violence on the streets of Haiti as earthquake survivors lost their patience with the painfully slow process of getting international aid to those desperate for food, water and medical treatment.

I’m really tired of watching people standing around ‘waiting’ for someone to rescue them.
These folks made a pact with Devil. I read their prayer that blasphemed God when they started killing French people because they were “Blanc” . God’s wrath has fallen on them like New Orleans and today Venezuala. Not a penny more.
This looks like a job for more “Obama money”.
Hey! I gotta idea! Since we’re in such dire straits let’s have a riot. We can set fire to all the rubble, kill everybody in sight and terrify the rescue workers. That’ll show them!
Not only are they demanding that WE save them from their own earthquake...now they are demanding that WE save them from themselves. AND, they are getting angry at us for not meeting their expectations.
Lovely.
This is a land and people that a democrat could love.
Question:
Who’s to blame for their lousy infrastructure and crappy inept government?
It sounds like Norleans.
No question there is unquestionable suffering there, but all the same on TV I am seeing many instances of melodramatic orchestrations —people who are perfunctorily wrapping T-shirts around their head or whatever, then suddenly wailing when TV cameras are near. It’s like they think if they don’t play it up, the aid will not come.
The suffering is there, and we do not need a Vaudevillian characterization of it.
Just sayin’..!
Katrina hit New Orleans, Alabama, and Mississippi.
New Orleans sat back and waited for someone to do it for them.
The others started working themselves and welcomed needed assistance.
Well, that’s slightly different seeing how norlins is actually our land and our people. Haiti is non of our business. But I get your point none the less.
Remember the lady complaining about eating “army food”
Oh gosh be careful because on FR you will be called a hater.
I think Pat Robertson was techically onto something but his timing was way off.
Something is very very wrong in Haiti and New Orleans. I am not sure if it is voodoo but something is SERIOUSLY amiss.
Is Venez also doing voodoo? Cuba does voodoo.
I saw that also. I was appalled. They are starving and one of them told the crowd not to eat the cookie because the date was expired. Meanwhile it was not the expiration date they were looking at. For god’s sake if your starving would you be picky about the expiration date of a cookie.
No.
I’ve never had cable TV. Never did get a digital converter box. And I havn’t watched anything other than seinfeld reruns, red green show, antique roadshow, and now and then the tonightshow in over 5 years.
I thought TV turned weird when the first survivor show came out. That’s when me and TV kinda went our separate ways.
The last show I really liked was newsradio with phil hartman.
Hey, waitaminnit...
Oh you will be attacked like I was here as being a hater. There is MAJOR a manipulation by the liberal media and the locals. Folks - the liberal media is playing you.
This is all about getting to Florida, getting foodstamps, housing vouchers, welfare, free schooling, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and SS disability, free healthcare, free everything else you can think of. If you lived in FL you have seen it first hand.

I bet she gets her mortage paid off - I would bet anyone $100 on it.
