As you may know, Dorothy, who does great investigative reporting, has been on the case of the outrageous, trumped up prosecution of the Amirault Family of Massachusetts and has exposed it as baseless in her reporting over the last three decades. The Amiraultshard-working, successful people who busted their asses to get off of welfare and make something of themselveswere sent to prison on ridiculous, phony, coached child molestation charges, without a shred of evidence. And Martha Coakley, as a prosecutor, was chief among those who destroyed that innocent family.
An excerpt:
What does this say about her candidacy? (Ms. Coakley declined to be interviewed.) If the current attorney general of Massachusetts actually believes, as no serious citizen does, the preposterous charges that caused the Amiraults to be thrown into prisonthe butcher knife rape with no blood, the public tree-tying episode, the mutilated squirrel and the restthat is powerful testimony to the mind and capacities of this aspirant to a Senate seat. It is little short of wonderful to hear now of Ms. Coakleys concern for the rights of terror suspects at Guantanamo - ...
And, again, please send the article to all of your friends, telling them why it is so important to go to the polls and vote for Scott Brown on Tuesday. Even friends who do not live in Massachusetts may have other friends who do.
If for no other reason than this (and there are plenty of other reasons), we cannot allow this womanwho cares more about the innocence and rights of murderous Islamic terrorists in Gitmo than she does about innocent hard-working Americansto attain a U.S. Senate seat. Regardless of ideology, basic human decency requires and demands that she be defeated for what she did to the Amiraults.

Send it to all your friends in Massachusetts still on the fence. And help to get the "right guy" Scott Brown elected to the Senate. The fate of our country hangs in the balance.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
Unsuprisingly he supports Scott Brown for Senator (as do I).
Freepers watch and forward to anyone you know in Massachusetts.

So are they out of jail now? How is the family doing? I’m so appalled.
The mother got out of prison with her daughter, but she died shortly afterward of cancer.
It was Gerald (Tookey) Amirault that suffered the most. He spent 17 years in prison -- pretty much unmolested because everyone knew he was innocent of those molestation charges. He missed 17 years of his life -- from age 31 to age 55.
Martha Coakley managed to delay his release for over two years for political reasons. It was a very sleazy thing she did and may be as bad or worse than Teddy at Chappiquidick. Coakly is an utter sleaze and that is why I contributed to the Brown campaign and will vote for him on Tuesday.
At least Gerald (Tookey) Amirault can see his grandchildren now and his wife refused to abandon him after all those years.
OMG! It's deja vu all over again! Doesn't this sound exactly like what Janet Reno did as a prosecutor in Florida? She got famous from fawning media coverage of her grandstanding in a bogus "Protect the chidren!" case like this one, eventually catching Bill & Hillary's attention. It took years for the truth to come out, with her entire case eventually being discredited, but by that time it didn't matter to her career any more (and the media paid little to no attention to the debunking of her), as she'd already leveraged her fame into higher office.
