Jake Tapper from ABC News asks why Barack Obama "is speaking today about Haiti, for the third time in as many days":
White House officials say . . . Haiti is in dire straits. This is a nation that had little to begin with. As opposed to what might be the case had the earthquake struck elsewhere in the hemisphere, Haiti has nearly no ability to deal with this severe crisis on its own.

“So because Haiti basically had no adequately functioning government for decades the United States must step into the breach to manage its affairs?”
Absolutely! Obama will be right at home managing a country that has no adequately functioning government. Not only that, but as President of Haiti, he’ll be presiding over a ready made green economy.

Perhaps the real question should be . That after 200 years of Freedom from the French, it’s still a crap hole, why ? Oh ! And that was before the quake .
Noise and more noise pretending to be action.
Jake, you are a typical left wing, MSM phony. Hussein is “talking up” Haiti in order to deflect attention from the ubiquitous thuggery going on in DC and put his “compassion” and wonderful kindness on display. In other words, the fraud continues, or, “never let a good disaster go to waste!”
Today’s message from Der Fuhrer interrupted my soap opera. (yes, cry me a river, I know)
Choice words were directed at him, as every time I returned to the station, he was still droning on.
Then when the daily proclaimation from Der Fuhrer was mercifully over, the numbnuts at NBC had their own common-taters (a type of potato product) comment on what Der Fuhrer had said.
They were cheerleading for their guy O so blatantly. They would all be ashamed of themselves if they had consciences.
Yo, Prez!
Doan be messin’ wit my soap, Bro!
An hey! Where my free pie at, Foo?
Those that can do, do. Those that can’t do, talk.
Of course, he still won't take questions!
