Oliver Willis notices Scott Brown defending the Massachusetts health care plan -- which he supported -- and trying to make the case that it's really quite different from the federal plan with which it shares key features.
"They're two different programs. What we have here is a free-market enterprise where we're providing insurance in various levels to people in Massachusetts. The plans in Washington are a one-size-fits-all plan," he said.

Where would you ever find a true conservative in a place like Mass.? I guess for now he is the best we can do...
HELP SCOTT !!
(stole this from another FReeper, but bears repeating)
People in ANY state can volunteer for the phone bank! http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/phone-calls-for-freedom-call-1?commentId=2600775%3AComment%3A1891491&xg_source=activity

Live in or near MA? Volunteers still needed at many regional offices. If you can help, please email Laura@brownforussenate.com and she will tell you how.
If you live in Massachusetts, become an election judge. In Boston they pay $135-$185 and they NEED Republican monitors.
Needed; military and retired law enforcement VFW and police organizations etc to monitor polls- prevent the voter fraud theyre plotting right now. Video tape everything; document everything; prosecute the perpetrators. http://www.cityofboston.gov/news/default.aspx?id=3599

Should we let Obama lackey Coakley waltz into the Senate for 10 months (or more ) of filibuster proof socialist programs?
Not perfect by any means but the alternative for right now is much worse.
Support the imperfect Brown as a brake against the worst excesses of Obama, Reid and Pelosi.
Sure, be aware of his RINocity.
Better Brown, though, than Coakley. By FAR.
O Thank God !!!Now We know!! No matter what DO NOT support this guy Brown!!!
If you support him this wonderful Democrat will NOT win and everything will be just awful
Don’t see Brown in that photo, do you?
Whatever Brown might be saying about Romneycare, conservatives need to stay out of it.
The alternative is Coakley, who shows herself to be even more an extreme leftist and moonbat with each passing day. I think she could be even worse than old Teddy was.
IS there a better candidate to back in MA at this stage of the game?
Democrats like you have been playing these good vs the perfect games for years. I don't think it will work this time.
Sounds like Brown is on his way to blowing it big time.
I’m glad I’m not in MA. I do not support Scott Brown. He’s a RINO. However, he’s as conservative as MA can get I believe. So I’m choosing to keep out of this. I hope Scott wins, but I don’t. It’s like that.
There must be something in the water that makes the candidates say the stupidest things! He should have just kept his mouth shut!
Not every candidate can or should be uniformly conservative. A “conservative” candidate from Massachusetts is a different candidate than one from Kansas.
I would not accept Brown as a conservative Kansas candidate, but I see him as right-leaning when compared to the existing Mass leadership.
Remember, when you steer a ship, you cannot turn 90 degrees all at once. You have to turn the boat more slowly, steering steadily in your desired direction in order to change the course. Brown is a righward-drift on the ship of Massachusetts. He is better than what they have had and do have. He’s a step in the right direction.
just my $.02, of course.
Irrelevant! If he can kill Obamacare. He’s better than Coakley.
Changes happens incremmentally. It’s a shame certain Conservatives don’t understand that.
Coakley supporters will no doubt laugh aloud that Brown is now taking shots from the right. Who do you think planted these stories to engender doubt among rightwing bankrollers?
Whether the information contained is right or not, this is clearly a Coakley campaign tactic.
Don’t take your eye off the ball.

Uh, are Romney and McCain the enemies to our freedom right now, or is it Obama, Pelosi and Reid?
Exactly, this question is asked to get that response from Brown. They know he supported Romneycare, so what is the point? The point is to stir up conservatives and hope to get some dumb reactions and remarks from them to use to damage Brown with the Mass. moderates and/or independents.
