Glenn Beck also mentioned the 72 hour rule today. As he said, after 72 hours hope begins to fade and desperation takes over.

45,000 Americans said to be living in Haiti. Many relief organizations, both public and private.
We pray for those who spend their lives trying to lessen the suffering of these poor people.

Well, look at all those extra posts. Would you please remove my 3 extra posts? I wasn’t posting a sort of Novena-type prayer. But my PC has wanted to restart a few times here.....
Apologies to the forum.

I suppose they didn’t think to dig out the trapped survivors instead of erecting a corpse wall.

BO might want to move survivors to Detroit. It is colder but they should feel at home from the recent photos I have seen of Detroit. Then Michigan will have a new supply of Democrap voters. New crop of Union workers for GM too.

re: The people in China who were hit with a much bigger quake a couple of years ago, and are not a lot better off financially, all lined up and moved concrete blocks by hand until some kind of equipment arrived. Seems like the thing to)))
Thought the same thing--but there's no civilization in Haiti. But you can text "yele"--sheesh. All the reportage I've seen shows that no relief is arriving!

Am I the only one who is wondering why the very same Obama who criticized George W. Bush again and again about how poorly he handled Katrina//// Not to mention AG Holder putting him and Cheney on trial for war crimes.

As he said, after 72 hours hope begins to fade and desperation takes over. And the US gubmint recommends we all have a 3-day supply onhand in case of an emergency. Don't want anything to get in the way of desperation, especially when more gubmint is the intended solution.

Perhaps they've learned their handout and entitlement lessons well. Just like those in our welfare hoods. Help me up, becomes, I'm entitled to be carried.

What do you blame the 2004 asian tsunami on (which killed about 230,000 people in fourteen countries)? or the 2005 Kashmir earthquake which killed about 80,000 people? Budhists? The 1998 Yangtze River Floods? Or the Great flood of 1993 right here in America? Not much voodoo in Missouri.

I dont wish to sound callous, but how stupid are these people? Wouldnt corpse barricades further hinder aid?
My exact thoughts as well ...

All the reportage I've seen shows that no relief is arriving! I have only watched the news on TV sporadically today but they showed a landing strip crowded with aircraft there. Transport planes and helicopters. So, I don't understand the reportage you have seen.
