Apparently Erick Erickson didn't wax eloquently enough with his ‘listen, I love Sarah Palin...’ bit.
The subtitle emphasizes one of his articles main points; that Sarah Palin supporters (and I am one of them) need to back off a bit on labeling any criticism at all of Sarah Palin, no matter how well intentioned or peripheral; as “hate-Sarah” speech.
I think the zealotry on her behalf is a bit overblown, and makes those who engage in it look as if they are not basing their support of Palin on reasonable criteria, because they become so unreasonable to anyone who they think is not sufficiently “on their side”.
The criticism that I’ve seen recently is petty stuff such as not going to CPAC but IS going to a tea party that isn’t non-profit. That’s petty nit picky. They aren’t disagreeing with a political stand. They are disagreeing with Palins personal choices.
It is not income they want to redistribute, it is wealth.
Lately I've started coming around to her as a potential presidential candidate, though the FOX thing convinces me once and for all she will not be running for president but instead will be a kind of shadow-president, or king-maker. But whenever I get comfortable with her, the outpouring of "She's perfect, stop asking questions!" stuff makes me withdraw.
Not that that matters anymore, since I'm convinced she won't be running for anything. Which leaves us with Romney? Ugh.
