Climate researchers have discovered that NASA researchers improperly manipulated data in order to claim 2005 as "THE WARMEST YEAR ON RECORD." KUSI-TV meteorologist, Weather Channel founder, and iconic weatherman John Coleman will present these findings in a one-hour special airing on KUSI-TV on Jan.14 at 9 p.m. A related report will be made available on the Internet at 6 p.m. EST on January 14th at www.kusi.com.
In a new report, computer expert E. Michael Smith and Certified Consulting Meteorologist Joseph D'Aleo discovered extensive manipulation of the temperature data by the U.S. Government's two primary climate centers: the National Climate Data Center (NCDC) in Ashville, North Carolina and the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) at Columbia University in New York City. Smith and D'Aleo accuse these centers of manipulating temperature data to give the appearance of warmer temperatures than actually occurred by trimming the number and location of weather observation stations. Such a shame. When NASA started in the late 50s, I thought it was the best thing since ice cream. The dreams we thought it might realize.
Sad.
NASA has turned into a disgraceful laughingstock. The agency takes taxpayer money and uses it to perpetate a “global warming” fraud for the purpose of... confiscating even MORE money from productive taxpayers?? That’s quite a sick scheme.
It’s time to either yank NASA funding altogether or turn the agency completely over to the military. It is getting to the point that private entrepreneurs can do the adventuring and “research” applications of space travel without the help of confiscated tax dollars.
In any event, their assclown Hansen needs to be fired immediately and indicted.

I feel the same about it today that I felt about it when you were ignoring what I was saying before. The data is the data...and we know climate scientists have been manipulating the raw data to show more warming than there is. It happened in New Zealand and Jones/Mann perfected it.
The data still shows warming up until 2002...then cooling afterwards. I said that...but I guess you conveniently ignored all of that (considering this story is about manipulated data in 2005).
And BTW...D'Aleo agrees with me...that the earth had warmed due to a natural cycle of PDO...etc...and that now it is cooling....which is exactly what I have said. So...once again a source agrees with me. So...your point is?
HERE is a good record...RAW data...of global temps. Its from a source (Roy Spencer) who is a climate scientist...and does not subscribe to AGW.
Joe Bastardi, who also does not subscribe to AGW...said this about this site: "That is the site to keep an eye on for the global temps as it is not "adjusted" as NASA GISS temps are. It plainly shows we are warmer than normal but unlike 02-03 and 06-07 ninos as strong as this peaked in December. We are seeing this fall already. In any case, I quickly reported the warm temp of November, and now here is the cooler December. But those that want an OBJECTIVE measurement of temps this is the site to go to. "
D'Aleo feels the same about the data...and believes in some warming (due to natural reasons)...and cooling since 2002.
So...again...I say: What have I said differently than your ping to me? Nothing.
Goes back to a Sen Tim Wirth of Colorado who set up Hansen for the purrpose to extol ... Global Warming ....we have a thread around here that has the History.
