I think this is where core beliefs and integrity come in...for example, we need to stop listening and reacting to their syrupy, opiate laced speeches, and start focusing on their actions. It's what they are NOT saying that is killing us...the backroom deals and the secrecy.

Whereas, if we all get back to our core beliefs in America and stand on integrity, it won't matter what they say, we will know the truth. When you know how a machine is supposed to run, then no one can tell you any lies.

We need to go back to the Constitution...that's the plan of ages. That is what the left is trying to dismantle piece by piece. When the Constitution goes, then so goes America.

The dream we call America should be like a train...we should be on the tracks of freedom and liberty and anyone who steps onto those tracks will be run over soundly. Like the song says, you shouldn't "Play Chicken with a Train".

The one test we conservatives should apply to each and every word the left utters is, "Is that in the context and spirit of the Constitution?". If not, (and with the dems it probably won't be) then rally against it.

The best way to quell a bully is to:

a) Stand up to him;
b) Get in the first punch and make it a good one.

When the dems throw out nonsense, they are just trying to get an argument started...while their B-team argues with conservatives, their A-team is doing who knows what behind the distraction.

Time to throw down the gauntlet and say, no one passes this point without an authorized and Constitutional pass. Like unruly children, the left doesn't understand "coddling", they need authoritative force to make believers out of them.

We all need to become the locomotive force for Freedom and Justice...then let them begin their game of "chicken".

Abstract:

This paper examines the growth of government during this century as a result of giving women the right to vote. Using cross-sectional time-series data for 1870 to 1940, we examine state government expenditures and revenue as well as voting by U.S. House and Senate state delegations and the passage of a wide range of different state laws. Suffrage coincided with immediate increases in state government expenditures and revenue and more liberal voting patterns for federal representatives, and these effects continued growing over time as more women took advantage of the franchise. Contrary to many recent suggestions, the gender gap is not something that has arisen since the 1970s, and it helps explain why American government started growing when it did.
