For once I agree with the current Administration. But that contemptible fool Pat Robertson gave them all the rope needed to hang him.

I disagree with you and many others on this site. Pat Robertson need not have to bow to political correctness just because you don't like his observation.

A person has been drinking, gets behind the wheel and crashes. He is injured. If someone makes the observation that the driver did something stupid do you have a problem with it? How about if the driver hits and injures others? The drivers' actions are still stupid, and now those actions have hurt innocent people.

Let's take it to a larger scale. Let us suppose that a lazy incompetent socialist with no history of accomplishment is able to convince a nation to elect him as their leader. Let's go way out on a limb and say that the policies of this nimrod trash the economy. Would you disagree with a blanket observation that America was foolish for "making a deal" to have him in charge?

Where I'm going is rather obvious. The key question - is what Robertson said true? Did the leaders and/or the people of Haiti contract with Satan? If they did I propose that Robertsons' observation bears little difference to the items I have offered, except in the minds of you and others.

I had a hard time following you, but rest assured I am sure the trouble lies with me, not with you.

I see a whole bunch of bible prophesy people trying to cram the headlines into a construct of prophesy as they contrive to unravel something from Danial, Revelation, whatever. I see the same silliness from Pat. Pat also makes lots of weird prophetic statements that don’t come true. He dredged up something from over two hundred years ago. Did it happen? Don’t know. Such speculation should be kept to a narrower audience. I’m not even sure that you can make a bargain with the devil on somebody else s behalf. So many things about this just can’t be verified. But he comes off as a superstitious clown. I am sure you mean well but I just wish Pat would stop adding to the list of stupid Pat quotes.
