School officials said the meeting wasn't the place for Schwalb to express her concerns.
Luongo said, "Parents should be smarter than that."
Only gay bullying is to be discussed?

Silly parent . . . doesn’t she know that she has no First Amendment rights when confronting public officials

Mom, get yourself a good lawyer, and sue the pants off them, including the dumba$$ cop!

Schwalb says she became enraged when the district superintendent starting asking her questions, including one about whether her daughter was wearing a thong.Superintendent Joseph Luongo says it was a fair question, "I had to find out what body parts were actually revealed."
I don't have a 13-year-old daughter, but if I were in that mother's position, I'm pretty sure they would be charging me with more than just cursing at the guy.

...sue the pants off them... Good one. And the article says the cop was on the board.

Nothing new under sharia law. She’s lucky she wasn’t stoned to death for forcing the man hand upon her.

“Parents should be smarter than that.”
He needs to be brought up on charges of using his position as an officer for the purpose of harrassment at the behest of board members...
I’m sure the priciple and the officer discussed it...that amounts to conspiracy and probably an open meetings voilation as well...
Petty tyrannts need to be reminded WHO they work for...

At the very least, were this my daughter, Mr. Luongo’s remarks would have taken me to the school board to file charges against him, and to ask for an inquiry into his background as a potential pedophile.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL
This ping list is for the other articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself) The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

The principal had it coming.
Again, this is not an offense that deserves an arrest.
Do they arrest and charge all the kids that cuss and swear at each other in the halls?
What about the kids who cuss a teacher out to his or her face?
What about arresting the principal and charging him as a sexual offender for his questions about her daughter?
Why are public school officials immune to the consequences of behavior that would land anyone else in jail, or have kids taken from their parents by social services?

This guy needs a date in the parking lot with the girl’s Dad and a 2by4.

“School officials said the meeting wasn’t the place for Schwalb to express her concerns.”
Of course not. No need for everybody at the meeting to know what is going on at school. The right place is a private office where you can express your concerns, but nothing will be done. That’s what the school admin wants to do for you...nothing.

I guess I wouldn't think that disorderly conduct could be charged unless it was witnessed by law enforcement. This will get dismissed.
